PTH 30 mg Tablet by Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is a calcimimetic therapeutic tablet designed to manage disorders associated with elevated parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels such as hyperparathyroidism and hypercalcemia. This prescription pharmaceutical targets abnormal calcium-phosphorus metabolism by regulating PTH secretion, helping restore mineral balance and preventing complications such as bone demineralization and kidney stress. It is commonly used in clinical settings where endocrine calcium regulation needs medical intervention.

Ingredients:

Cinacalcet Hydrochloride (Calcimimetic Agent) 30 mg:
Cinacalcet acts on calcium-sensing receptors (CaSR) located on parathyroid gland chief cells. By increasing receptor sensitivity to extracellular calcium, it suppresses excess PTH secretion at the molecular signaling level. This reduces serum calcium concentrations and helps normalize bone mineral metabolism while reducing risks associated with hypercalcemia such as vascular calcification and bone resorption.

Inactive excipients help maintain tablet integrity, ensure controlled drug release, and support gastrointestinal absorption. These components also improve stability and dosing consistency.
