Raksha HS+BQ Vaccine by Indian Immunologicals Limited (IIL) is a scientifically formulated, combined inactivated injectable vaccine designed to confer simultaneous, durable protective immunity against two of the most devastatingly fatal bacterial diseases threatening cattle and buffalo populations across tropical and subtropical regions: Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (HS), caused by Pasteurella multocida, and Black Quarter (BQ), also known as Emphysematous Carbuncle, caused by Clostridium chauvoei. These two diseases share a defining clinical profile of rapid, overwhelming onset, extremely high case fatality rates, and the capacity to decimate unvaccinated herds within hours to days of the first signs of illness. In India alone, Haemorrhagic Septicaemia has historically been responsible for the highest mortality from infectious disease in buffaloes and cattle, causing estimated economic losses exceeding USD 792 million annually to the livestock sector. Raksha HS+BQ provides livestock owners and veterinary practitioners with a proven, single-dose prophylactic shield against both pathogens in a single administration, simplifying herd vaccination protocols and reinforcing the health and productive capacity of your animals through the most critical transmission seasons.

Composition

Each 3 ml dose contains:

• Formalin-inactivated antigens of Pasteurella multocida (Haemorrhagic Septicaemia component), Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) grade
• Formalin-inactivated antigens of Clostridium chauvoei (Black Quarter/Emphysematous Carbuncle component), IP grade

Adjuvant: Aluminium Hydroxide Gel

Preservative: Formaldehyde
