Robenacoxib (as Robenacoxib BP) 6 mg per tablet:Robenacoxib is a coxib-class NSAID developed specifically for veterinary use in cats and dogs. At the cellular level, it works by selectively inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) isoenzyme, the inducible form of the COX enzyme that is upregulated at sites of tissue injury, surgery, and inflammation. COX-2 catalyses the conversion of arachidonic acid into pro-inflammatory prostaglandins, particularly prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), which are the primary mediators of pain sensitisation, oedema, and fever at the site of inflammation.
